A privately held, family-owned and operated corporation, Crown Disposal began its collection business in 1960 with just one vehicle parked behind the family home. Growing steadily over the next 20 years, it moved first to a building at 9100 DeGarmo Avenue and in 1981 built the corporate offices in Sun Valley that we currently share with our sister company, Community Recycling.

Today, Crown Disposal has a large fleet of front loader and roll-off vehicles, which we maintain through extensive in-house engineering and maintenance support services provided by our Maintenance Facility, Fabrication Shop and Fuel Station.

Crown Disposal staff expertise is utilized by both companies for repair of vehicles and recycling facility equipment. Crown Disposal even builds its own transfer trailer bodies in OUR fabrication shop.

Early in our history, Crown Disposal saw the trend toward diminishing and more expensive landfills and the consolidation of the waste hauling industry that limited customer choice. As a result, Community Recycling's first transfer and processing facility was built in 1974. Today, the Crown Family of Companies continues to grow and ensure more and better choices for all of our customers.
